Dear Friends,

The parish will know that, whilst I am not the most patient person in the world, I am not usually given to a rant on the parish website. Writing this in mid-July, perhaps the heat is making me crotchety, or – just maybe - I am genuinely disappointed and irritated by some of the things that have been happening recently.

This month ‘the Vicar’s letter’ takes a different form to usual. All and yet everything I want to say is about wishing two special people farewell and the very best of everything as they move away from Hook. They have been a distinctive part of the community for a long time, and many of us will miss them.
